NApp is our shared home — a verified community of Navodayans built on the trust we learned in the same hostels and houses. These guidelines keep it that way. By creating an account you agree to follow them.
1. Be who you are
- Register with your real identity and genuine JNV details. Membership is verified; fake or impersonating accounts are removed.
- One person, one account.
2. Treat every Navodayan with respect
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or personal attacks — the house spirit applies online too.
- Disagreement is welcome; abuse is not.
3. Keep the platform clean
- No sexually explicit content, no graphic violence.
- Zero tolerance for any content that sexualises or endangers minors — see our Child Safety Standards. Such content is removed, the account terminated, and the matter reported to authorities.
- No spam, scams, misleading forwards or repeated self-promotion.
- No sharing of another member's personal information without their consent.
4. Use the community features honestly
- NMap location sharing is consent-based — never misuse presence information of fellow members.
- Batch and district groups are shared spaces; group admins may moderate content that breaks these rules.
5. Report, don't retaliate
- See something that breaks these rules? Use Report on the post or profile, or the "Report a bug" screen, or email us. Admins review every report.
- You can also Block any member — you'll stop seeing each other's content and messages.
6. What happens when rules are broken
- Depending on severity: content removal, warning, temporary restriction, or permanent removal from the platform.
- Illegal activity is reported to the relevant authorities.
- Decisions are made by the platform's admin team; you can write to us if you believe a mistake was made.
